1. What this page covers
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the Strenqo website (strenqo.eu and its subdomains) uses. It does not cover the Strenqo mobile application, which is a native app and uses no web cookies — see the Tracking Policy for the SDKs used in the app.
2. Summary
The Strenqo website is a static informational site that uses only strictly-necessary cookies and equivalent technologies (such as localStorage entries) required for the basic operation of the site (e.g. remembering that you have dismissed the cookie notice).
We do NOT use:
- profiling or marketing cookies
- advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies (Google Ads, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, etc.)
- third-party analytics (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, PostHog, Heap, Plausible, Fathom, etc.)
- attribution / mobile-measurement SDKs (AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, Singular)
- cookies set by social-network embeds (no embedded YouTube, X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn widgets that drop cookies)
- cross-context profiling for marketing purposes
Because the site uses only strictly-necessary cookies, under Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code (D.Lgs. 196/2003 as amended), the EU ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC and the Italian Garante's Guidelines of 10 June 2021, no prior consent is required. We display an informational banner to make sure you are aware.
3. Cookies and similar technologies actually used
| Name | Type | Purpose | Storage | Duration | First/Third party |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
strenqo.cookie.notice.acked.v1 |
Strictly necessary (functional) | Remembers that you have closed the cookie notice so we do not show it again on every visit | localStorage in your browser |
Until you clear browser storage | First-party |
The site does not currently set any HTTP cookies on its own behalf. The single entry above is a localStorage key, not a cookie in the strict HTTP sense, but is covered by the same legal regime (ePrivacy art. 5.3) as cookies because it stores information on your device.
4. How to manage cookies
You can clear and block cookies and localStorage entries at any time using your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data — guide
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data — guide
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data — guide
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions — guide
If you block the strictly-necessary cookies, parts of the site may behave incorrectly (for example, the cookie notice will reappear on every visit).
5. Future changes
If we ever introduce non-essential cookies (e.g. analytics or marketing), we will:
- Update this page with a complete cookie table
- Switch the informational banner to a full consent banner with separate opt-in for each category
- Ensure no non-essential cookie is set before you have actively given consent
- Provide an easy way to withdraw consent at any time
The most up-to-date version of this Policy is always at strenqo.eu/legal/cookie-policy.html.
6. Your rights and contacts
You can exercise your data-protection rights (access, rectification, erasure, objection, withdrawal of consent, complaint to the supervisory authority) as described in our Privacy Policy §8.
