Canada Supplement
This supplement provides additional information for users in Canada. It complements the main Privacy Policy and does not replace it.
0. Controller
Strenqo is operated by Andreas Mondo (sole proprietorship), Via Pianezza 16, 10040 Givoletto (TO), Italy — VAT IT13352600012 — contact: strenqo-support@strenqo.eu.
1. Canadian privacy framework
Strenqo handles personal information in line with the Canadian federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, with provincial requirements including BC's PIPA, Alberta's PIPA, and Quebec's Loi modernisant des dispositions législatives en matière de protection des renseignements personnels (Law 25).
2. Meaningful consent
Strenqo asks for consent for optional health, wearable, camera, notification and AI-personalization features. The main Privacy Policy §3 lists each processing purpose and its legal basis; granular toggles in Profile → Support, privacy and legal let you withdraw consent at any time for the optional features.
3. Health and fitness information
Workout, nutrition, body, photo and connected-health data are sensitive. Strenqo uses such data to operate the features you enable and to provide general fitness and wellness support; the service is not for medical diagnosis or treatment (see the Health Disclaimer).
4. Children
The minimum age to register from Canada is 13 years.
5. Quebec Law 25 specifics
Users resident in Quebec have the following additional rights under Law 25:
- Right to be informed of the use of automated decision-making (see main Privacy Policy §11);
- Right to data portability in a structured, commonly-used technological format (exercised via the in-app "Export my data" function — see main Privacy Policy §8);
- Right to know whether your personal information is being transferred outside Quebec (see Subprocessor list);
- Right to file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (CAI).
6. Access, correction, deletion, complaints
Submit access, correction or deletion requests by contacting strenqo-support@strenqo.eu. Federal complaints may be filed with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca); provincial complaints with the applicable authority (BC OIPC, OIPC Alberta, CAI Québec).
